Kamakura lantern Festival

Kamakura is a famous city in Japan that’s known for it’s large Buddha (Kamakura Dabutsu) and elaborate temples. This place is a huge tourist spot for people all over Japan and the world. We are lucky to live one train stop away from this place.
Since we are so close to Kamakura, one evening we decided to eat dinner there and stop by the local Lantern Festival. Kamakura’s largest temple was decorated with dozens of lanterns that had been painted by local artisans. It was a beautiful site!
